This Summer We....

Well here's our latest update on the Hatch fam. To start off Javan's loving being on his mission in New Zealand serving the lord. He's doing good making us back here at home proud! Any who, we packed up and drove down to Tucson Arizona to see our newest nephew Everett Wade. He's so adorable. We spend the first day we got there at Lashley and Tania's visiting with Sadie and Everett then we spent the night at our cousins house to see them. Also, along with us Alene and her husband and their two cute boys Nathan and Zen came down to visit as well. So everyone but daddio was there. We spent a few days with Elna and Alene, then me (Sarah), hunter and Maryjo headed up to Mesa to visit for the the week with our other cousins who we barely see. We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back in a few weeks for Everett's baby blessing. Also, I went to girl's camp and for youth conference on a pioneer trek. The trek was hard yet spiritual and fun!!! Hunter enjoyed going to scout camp and right now he's on the 50 miler with dad. We also have no cable so we entertain ourselves with books and red box movies! haha!! Well, that's our summer right now. busy,busy,busy!

So Javan is in New Zealand, well has been there for at least a month now he left on March 7, 2011. This week we're going down for Lashley's graduation in Tucson, AZ. We're sooooooo excited to see everyone!!! ANYWHO, MaryJo and I(Sarah) got feathers in our hair we have the tan and black & white stripped ones and she has a long red feather i have a purple one and we also got the sprakles/tisil in our hair as well. I had my first two competitions for this year. MY showchoir group name is Sweetharts. for our first competition we were in the novak/beggining girl group section. we placed second for that which we were all excited about. The second competition we were put in the imtermidate girl group section. We didn't place for that but then again they only announced 3rd,2nd, and 1st place. EVerybody in my group says that we placed like 5th our of 8. which isn't too bad but we were still pretty disappointed. Oh well we have another competition comig up soon. Umm, I don't think there's anything else thats happened this week. We'll keep ya posted though.

update!!!

so last tuesday (the 15th of feb.) Javan left for the mtc a day earlier. He reported to the mtc on wednesday (the 16th of feb.) We MISS HIM SOOOO MUCH!! at least I do!!! But I know for a fact that everyone in the Hatch family is very proud of him for choosing to serve the lord for 2 years. He is to serve two years in the Auckland New Zealand mission. Now with only 3 left in the house things are gonna be crazy!!! We also got the news thata new grandson/nephew will be joining our huge family soon!!! soooo excited for that!! For Javans farewell which was given on the 30th of January, Sarah sang the EFY version of I Believe in Christ (all but my self!!), MaryJo sang I'm trying to be like Jesus, and I am like a Star during the prelude while Elna and mom (Ethel)played the piano and violin to many songs. We'll all miss Javan very very much!! Hope everyone is well. we love you all!

Update!!!!!!!!

Well, A LOT has happened since june!!!! i started high school, hunter started junior high, and maryjo started 4th grade and Javan is getting started on his mission papers!!! annyway, we miss and love you all!!! so last thursday and friday i had my first show choir concert. My group sweetharts!!! started the show off with are number of songs from the musical Hair!!We did AMAZING!!! i was sooo nervous then we did our stand and sing in our very pretty pink dresses that are really inmodest on the top of the dress but what can you do? hunter and maryjo started soccer up again and are both doing very well. WE'RE MOVING!!!! but just down the street! We bought a house! i'm still not looking forward to moving but, i'm still happy that we now get a dishwasher again! yay!!! Hunter and I have decided to be spies for halloween even though halloween is on a sunday... MaryJo is going to be a gumball machine from the last i heard right? A Three Day Visit with Family

So two weeks ago we left for Arizona to go take some saddles down with my dad and so we stopped to visit our cousins. Elna, Javan, Lashley, my niece sadie, and my aunt cora, uncle Rick and my cousin Cole came up from Tuscon to Mesa to see us for a couple days. We had fun and Maryjo got her hair cut to her chin I'll get pics up as soon as I take them. Alene also came down with us from Modesto to visit.

Runny Eggs

The other day I was making myself an egg. So I put it on the pan and go to get the salt and pepper on the table when I come back the egg has rolled off the pan and onto the stove... I don't know what I did but the next egg also wanted to do the same thing. I was watching that time. That is one runny egg! HAHA!

Showchoir auditions and updates

So I know this is really late and most of you know how my auditions went but for those who don't I [Sarah] auditioned for show choir on the 29Th of April. My solo with three friends in the room with me was OK. I did good in the beginning and the dance we had learned I did really well on with no mistakes and The A Capella [or singing notes with no music] was perfect the lady playing the piano said that I was the first person to get all of the pitches perfect. I was so nervous but excited and in an hour they post the list of who is in which group I 'll update that and let you know if I get in. Happy Mothers Day to all you moms out there. In church the primary and Young Women sang a couple of songs for the moms and the Young Women tought the primary classes for the moms today also, I tought Maryjo's class today and they were NOT the best class ever but hey thats primary. I had fun teaching them with another girl too. School has been going good for us all and we have about four weeks left until SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! Anyways, we hope you've all had a great year so far and wish that we lived closer to all our family so that we could enjoy Mothers Day with you. Happy Mothers Day!!!!!

Christmas Fun and updates!

Hey everyone so i know its really really late but i'm going to tell you about our christmas. We got a trampoline and an air hockey table, but we didn't get a lot of christmas gifts because we got those family gifts. Well tuesday the 2nd of febuary i turned 14!!! yay!!!! Now i get to go to the chruch dances yayay!!!! anyways, we've had a lot of fun and exciting things happen this year. First of all Alene had her baby boy Zen Asher Sauls on the 30th of January. Dad says we might go see them this weekend because we have no school on Friday and Monday well at least i don't. I don't about Hunter and MaryJo. So we are excited to have Javan go on his mission in a year but we'll miss him especially Me [sarah] So we hope you guys had a great christmas and a very happy new year. we'd like to hear how your christmas went and how the years going for you. Oh by the way Hunter's soccer team is going to Bakersfeid for the championships i think something like that for soccer he's very excited for it. that we their goal this year from what i've been told. We hope they win we'll be very excited for him and happy for him if he wins. Good Luck Hunter!

Thanksgiving

Well we had a fun filled thanksgiving with family!!! Elna and Michael surprised us on thanksgiving and came up because they got off of work. We saw soooooo many movie OK not that much, but we saw like 4. We saw Up cute funny movie I laughed sooo hard, Igor its pretty funny its a cute family movie I liked it, Star Trek I got losted in the middle but its more of a grown up movie not for little kids one inappropriate part and some cussing, and we saw Red Green funnest movie ever!!!!!!!!! I didn't some of the jokes thought too young. So we had lots of fun. I miss having my grandparents, sisters, nephew, and brother-in-laws over. Its fun having family over. We all hope you had a great thanksgiving too.I'm soooo excited for Christmas coming up in 23 days and like three weeks YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Swine Flu!!!!!

So this passed week Hunter and Maryjo got the swine flu, their better now. Anyways, we all got tested for it and got the spray for it. We don't know if i already had it because i came out negative, but i was sick over the weekend and i still have the cough i got. Here are some of the symptoms for the swine flu: Headaches, high fever, chills, cough,stuffy nose, sore throat and of course the flu. Yeah gross! Hunter got it the worst out of us. We're all better now, but i still have a cough a little but I'm getting better. Well, that's all folks! hahahahahaha!

Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooo excited for halloween!!!!! I'm going to be a hypie. Hunter's going to be a vampire [ I thought it would be cool if I was a dead hypie and then have a huge bloody bite mark on my neck and have my shirt say victim #1, but we wouldn't stay together the whole night, I would go off with my friends soo yeah, but it was a pretty cool idea to me.], Maryjo's going to be a waittress. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week starting monday i went to the doctor to find out why i'm soo angry all the time, I don't know why i'm mad all the time and so I have to go to some other to see if i need to be on medication. We also, found out why my nose has been so stuffy and we found out that its really swolen so I have a nose spry for that to help my tissue not be so reactive to pollin and things in the sir like that. I also, got a flu shot they don't have the swin flu shot avaliable yet. Ever since monday i've been sooooooooo happy everyday so I hope that it continues for a long, long time. I'm glad that i've been happy not mad this week.

More Labor Day Weekend Fun!!!!!!!

So this is the last few photos that i'm going to show you. The hat that Nathan is wearing in almost all the pictures is one of Hunter's hats he loved wearing it. Somebody handed it to him and he put it on and Hunter couldn't wear it until he took it off. Nathan had lots of fun with my white board and coloring with the marker and erasing himself when he got marker on him. We had lots of fun visiting Alene. She wants me to come up sometime, just me! I'll propably go up during spring brake or christmas break.

Yes! its true we did walk through the middle of a redwood tree, and in between two of them too. It was so fun!

Labor Day Weekend Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what we did Labor Day weekend, we saw the Very big Redwood trees.In the picture that we're standing on, the tree had been growing since 600 A.D! That tree is the same one, that we're standing by.They cut the tree down for a dance floor in the 1800s. We had a lot of fun with our nephew/grandson Nathan, He loved walking around outside the whole time.

My new blog and story!

So I made a new blog called wwwprincesshammy.blogspot.com, check it out, and no it doesn't have www. I put www by accident so the names right i didn't forget ok. Also, i'm writing a story called My brother Joe at War. It's about a brother and sister who are growing up during the time of World War 1.They send each other letters and the story tells about how they get through these hard times. The characters are Father, Mother, Joe, Alina, Katie, Emmett, Aunt Dolley, Uncle Richard, Maryann[Alina's best friend], and Tom[Joe's best friend who gets drafted into the war like Joe.] Thats all.

Future Jobs

This week i've been thinking about some of the jobs I might want to do when I grow up. For example, i'm writing a story called Powers about three girls who live on a farm in a small town and end up in a big problem with bills on the farm and have to come up with $5,000 in like a month and the trials they go through together. Also, i've thought about being a first grade teacher,an author like mentioned before, a beautition,and thats about all I got.If you have any other careers i'd like to know what they are so leave me a comment.

School

Well, I got on team Exellence yay! I have some interesting teachers this year my schedule goes like this I have english with Ms. Allsman she's funny in her own way.Also, many things irritate her like,girls hugging and screaming, sniffing your stuffy nose and not blowing it out, wiating for her to open the classroom door for you and many other things, but I'm sure you got my point.Anyways, my p.e. teacher Mr.Olsson retired from being Saugus High School's basketball coach to now my p.e. teacher he runs the track with you and does anything you can do but better. My math teacher Mr. D'Elia is weird in being a neat, clean freak! He waers a blue dentist glove when he writes on the overhead so that he doesn't get the ink on his hand.My history teacher Mr. LeMaster lectures you the whole class time. He's a good teacher though. My science teacher Ms. Mathis is really cool shes so nice too. she's pretty much normal. Finally, my chorus teacher Ms. Spula is nice too as long as you aren't reading, talking, or not trying at all, in her class. Yeah I have some interesting teachers don't I?

school starts again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited for school again, but not too happy to wake up so early again. I've missed my friends. I did swim team this year and just had our finals saturday. I did ok at the meet. During the summer we visited Alene for a few days it was fun! Also, i started a recipe box to collect recipes for personal progress. Besides that, thats pretty much what I did this summer.
